How do I clear the output in the Build window? Print E-mail
Question:
The process buffer is cluttered after running a build. How do I clear the output in the Build window?

Answer:
Run the command "clear-pbuffer" on the SlickEdit® command line. To bring up the SlickEdit command line, hit ESC in most emulations, or click on the SlickEdit message line.

You can add this command to the right click menu of the process buffer by right clicking in it and selecting "Edit This Menu", and adding a new command for it.

To have the Build window cleared before each build, go to the (Project >p Project Properties on the "Tools" tab) dialog, select the "Build" tool from the list, and check the "Clear Process Buffer" option on the left hand side of the dialog.
