How to break out of a hang or Slick-CŪ macro Print E-mail
Question:
SlickEdit® seems to have hung and I cannot get back control of the editor, or it is stuck in an infinite loop. Is there anything I can do without killing the editor?

Answer:
To break out of an infinite loop or a Slick-C hang in the Slick-C macro language, hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F2.

If the infinite loop occurs in a timer such as a periodic operation like background tagging, then hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F3.
