How do I stop a Search or Replace operation in SlickEdit® before it finishes?

Answer:
To stop a foreground search or replace operation, you can press the Esc key.

To stop a background search or replace operation, you will need to press the "Stop" button on the (Search > Find) or (Search > Replace) dialogs.

For older versions (pre 8.0), you will need to press the Ctrl+Alt+Shift keystroke to break the search.
