Hot Fixes for SlickEdit® 2008 (v13.0.1) |

The following cumulative hot fix is available for SlickEdit 2008 (v13.0.1). You can confirm the Version Information by going to Help > About SlickEdit.
NOTE: If a user loads a hot fix on a multi-user installation of SlickEdit®, only that user Configuration Directory will be updated.
Download the hot fix file to a temp (or any) directory on your local machine. Load the hot fix by going to Help > Product Updates > Load Hot Fix and navigate to the hotfix file on your local disk. SlickEdit will copy and load the files to your Configuration Directory and there is no need to extract the files. NOTE: SlickEdit expects all hotfix files to be in .zip format, and extracting the contents of the hotfix.zip file is not necessary.

The cumulative hot fix contains all of the most up-to-date macro fixes for SlickEdit v13.0.1.
•autocomplete-- Fix bug where setting minimum prefix length on auto complete settings was setting the global variable, not the language-specific one. Fix bug in auto-complete that would cause unwanted completions when displaying categories was turned off.
•pmatch-- If the begin-end pairs use anything other than "I" for the ignore case options, ignore it.
•cutil -- Add size_t to the list of built-in C/C++ types.
•tags -- Fix performance issue in tag_remove_duplicate_symbol_matches() when we had large number of identical symbols in different file locations.
•tagrefs -- Fix references to correctly get the list of tag files when the symbol being referenced is located in a jar file or another binary file with a load-tags callback such as a .NET DLL.
•tagwin -- Make sure to exit scroll mode before centering on a particular line of source code in the preview window or the references tool window.
•errorcfgdlg/error -- Fix Configure Error Parsing resize issue. Also added dialog size restoration to this form and Edit Regex form. Configure Error Parsing edit dialog helper menu incorrectly inserting UNIX-style escape sequences instead of SlickEdit Regex syntax. Fixed case issue on #include.
•setupext -- Fix Slick-C stack in File Extension Manager
•optionsxml -- Fix Slick-C stack in options dialog caused by pressing enter in the search box. Fix usage of Alt+F4 on options dialog when focus is on embedded dialog.
•compile/debug -- When starting the debugger, if there are deferred breakpoints, do not just let the initialization fail; inform the user of the disabled breakpoints and do a simple step into.
•html -- Fix issue where two html end tags are inserted after selecting a tag from a context tagging list.
•vc -- Fixed issue with executables that have spaces.
•licensemgr -- Fix for license manager wizard displaying registration dialog for trials and NFRs
•sstab -- Fix for tool tips for Tab control tabs not being displayed correctly in 2,1 multi-monitor configuration.
•treeview -- Fix an issue that would cause space in the treeview control to behave unpredictably.
•config -- Fix issue with selection styles disabled for some emulations that support CUA selections
•vi -- Vimulator command not working when SlickEdit installed in a path with spaces
•tbfilelist -- Fix issue with cursor position restored properly in Brief emulation when using Files tool window.
•moveedge -- Using change_window (most common bound to F1 in Brief emulation) to change to the left/right/top/bottom window would switch to the incorrect window when the left margin indent was set to 0.
•clipbd -- Fix issue with copy/paste between two instances of SlickEdit not preserving Japanese characters when active code page is set to Japanese.
•box -- Fix issue with Document > Comment Block (box command) not preserving Japanese characters when active code page is set to Japanese.
•html -- Fix issue with HTML indenting. Enter key would always indent the next line even if not needed, such as after an end tag.
•gnucopts -- Fix issue with GNU C/C++ options form when renaming linker for projects building static libraries.
•commentformat -- Fix issue with block comment expansion not using tabs when indent with tabs is set.
•csymbols -- Workaround for issue with namespace aliases in C++.
•optionsxml -- Fixed issue where displaying Context Tagging options was giving negative numbers.
