What does the Symbol tab do? Print E-mail
Question:
What is the Symbol tab on the Output toolbar?

Answer
:
The Symbol tab on the Output toolbar displays either a list of symbols matching the symbol under the cursor in the current buffer, or in the case that there is exactly one tag matching, it shows the source code for that tag.  When SlickEdit® has focus on the Project toolbar, Tag Properties toolbar, List Members dialog, or Inheritance dialog, the Symbol Window previews the currently selected tag in the list or tree control.

For more information on this and other dynamic tagging features, see the SlickEdit help topic "Context Tagging®".
