How do I stop a long/big Find (Search) or Replace?
Answer
To stop a foreground search or replace operation, you can press the Esc key.
To stop a background Find or Find and Replace operation, simply bring up the Find and Replace dialog and press the "Stop" button on the Find (and Replace) dialog.
